河鳥啄木鳥代爾夫特藍（右）

The birds and reeds feel almost alive against that deep delft blue, and the glaze has a lovely soft sheen up close. I keep catching myself staring at the woodpecker detail every time I walk past the wall.

The hand-painted details really capture the herons and woodpeckers beautifully, the blue is so crisp against the white glaze. I keep catching myself staring at the tiles on the wall instead of actually cleaning them.

I was worried the delft blue might look flat, but the woodpecker detail has so much depth next to the bulrushes. It instantly made my laundry room feel like a peaceful marsh.
