English Delft Butterfly 1

The little blue bird has such fine, delicate brushwork that it feels like a miniature painting on my wall. I hung it near a window, and the light really brings out the subtle glaze variations.

The charcoal background makes the butterfly really pop against my light wall. I love that each tile is hand painted, you can see the brush strokes up close which gives it so much character.
