The Helford river is a very sheltered spot on the south coast of Cornwall. Gnarled Scots Pine trees overlook the passage of water that drifts from the wild open sea into the small winding creeks. These lend themselves well to kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding on a calm day.

The Wilderness delft collection was inspired by the wild side of Cornwall depicting scenes of hiking the coastal path, foraging, rockpooling, canoeing the hidden creeks and capturing moments of playful otters and starling murmurations. Each illustration has been consciously designed and painted at our in house studio.

With flecks of real gold in each design, this collection is truly one of a kind and curated to bring a piece of your wilderness inside.

Emily ★★★★★

The tile captures the moody, sheltered feel of the Helford river perfectly—the gnarled pine tree detail is what sold me. It adds a nice coastal touch to my bathroom wall without being too busy.

Evelyn Y. ★★★★★

The 13x13cm size is perfect for a small backsplash, and the detail of those gnarled pine trees against the water really captures that Cornish estuary mood. It feels like a little window into a calm, wild place right on my kitchen wall.

Jason ★★★★★

The water in this tile looks so calm and real, like a tiny slice of the Helford river frozen on my kitchen wall. Each 13x13cm piece fits together seamlessly, and the pine trees in the design add a nice touch of wildness that makes me smile every time I walk past.
