Category: Wall & Ceiling Tile

13 x 13cm (Sold as a 2)

As part of our Garden Insects collection, this Clouded Yellow Butterfly has been hand painted with added real gold and pearl luster to highlight the delicate texture in the wings.

These tiles sadly did not meet our usual quality standards, however we still think they are beautiful.

Part of our ‘Imperfectly Perfect’ seconds collection, these tiles may show:

  • Glazing issues during firing (see photos)

These tiles are ideal for creative installations where a more rustic or characterful finish is welcome.

The way the real gold highlights catch the light against the matte yellow wing is just stunning. I placed them as an accent on our bathroom wall and they really pop against the white tiles.

The pearl luster gives these butterflies a soft, almost shimmering glow that shifts as you walk past—much prettier in person than on screen. I’m using them to fill a small blank wall in my hallway, and the 13cm size is perfect for creating a subtle, scattered pattern.

Olivia ★★★★★

The real gold on the wings catches the light in a way that photos just can't capture, it's genuinely stunning in person. I got these for a small backsplash accent and the hand-painted detail on each tile is clearly visible up close. Even the edges feel well finished, which surprised me for the price
