River Bird Heron Delft

$16.5 ~~$27.5~~ In stock

Herons amongst the bullrushes, egrets landing on the shoreline and woodpeckers softly drilling into nearby trees, this collection brings the outdoors in.

Traditionally painted in delft blue colour, this collection has also been reworked in a soft charcoal by our talented team of in-house artists using simple brushstrokes and mark making techniques.

Revisited from our archives, this elegant collection was inspired by the natural beauty of the wild birds we encounter on riverbanks and marshlands within the UK, highlighting the importance of appreciating these modestly magnificent creatures.

Design shown on an English White base.

The hand-painted details on these tiles are stunning—the herons look like they're about to take flight right off the wall. I placed them as a border above my fireplace and it instantly became the room's focal point. The blue is exactly the soft, traditional delft shade I was hoping for.

I hung these tiles in my kitchen backsplash, and the woodpecker detail is surprisingly crisp up close. The blue tones are calming without being too dark.

The herons and bullrushes look like a watercolor painting come to life on my kitchen wall, and the delft blue tones are deeper and richer in person than on screen. Every guest has stopped to stare at the woodpecker detail near the ceiling line.
