Engels Delft IJsvogel

The hand-painted detail on this kingfisher tile is even more vivid in person than on screen, with the blue glaze catching the light beautifully. I placed it above my kitchen window and it instantly brings a charming, old-world feel to the room. It’s a real conversation starter for anyone who visits.

The charcoal glaze gives these tiles such a moody, elegant depth—they look almost like little paintings on my wall. The hand-painted bird stands out beautifully against the soft blue background of the surrounding tiles. I’m already planning another order for the hallway.

The hand-painted details on the kingfisher are so crisp you can see each tiny brushstroke of the blue glaze. I hung it over the bathroom mirror and the light catches the Delft Blue in a way that makes the whole room feel more elegant.
