The hand-painted details are so much finer than I expected, especially the soft blue gradient on the dove's wing. It's now the focal point of my kitchen backsplash, adding a quiet elegance that I notice every time I walk past.

I was a little worried the charcoal glaze might be too dark, but against our white wall it makes the dove's wings pop beautifully. The brushwork on the feathers is delicate and precise, exactly what I hoped for in a hand-painted tile.

The hand-painted dove came out even lovelier in person — the soft Delft blue shading and fine brushwork make it feel like a tiny piece of art. It's the kind of tile that turns a plain wall into a conversation starter.
