The 13cm size is perfect for a small backsplash, and the nautical-inspired pattern adds just the right amount of visual interest without being overwhelming. It's been a few weeks and we're still admiring how the light plays off the subtle surface variations.

The hand-made feel really comes through in the slight variations between each tile, which gives our backsplash so much character. The nautical-inspired shapes are subtle but they catch the light beautifully, and the 13x13cm size was surprisingly easy to work with around the window trim.

I was worried 13x13cm tiles would feel too small, but the nautical shape gives the pattern a bold, graphic look. The matte surface has a nice, subtle texture that catches the light just enough.
