Kantha Pavimento Speedwell

The contrast between the matte tile base and the glossy screen-printed design is exactly the subtle pop of character I wanted for my kitchen backsplash. Each one of these 15x15cm tiles feels like a little piece of art, and the Willow color is even richer in person.

I was a bit worried the small 15x15cm size would look too busy, but the matte base does a great job of grounding the delicate willow pattern. The contrast between the matte tile and the gloss screen-printed design is subtle yet striking up close.

The gloss design really pops against the matte tile base when the light hits it at an angle, and the screen-printed detail looks hand-finished up close. I put these on a small bathroom wall and the 15x15cm size was easy to lay out evenly.
