Le colibri a été peint à la main, ailes déployées, pour capturer cet oiseau coloré en plein vol. Ses plumes sont peintes dans de riches nuances de turquoise et de sarcelle, avec des touches de véritable peinture dorée qui accrochent la lumière. Ce petit oiseau très apprécié trouve sa place dans la collection Glasshouse, au milieu des plantes tropicales.
