Sekunden - Arc Flechte auf Kreide

I needed something quirky for my backsplash, and these 13x13cm tiles have just the right organic texture and uneven edges to make it feel custom. They're clearly "seconds" with some variation in the glaze, but that's exactly the look I was going for.

The price felt like a steal for these, and the “seconds” label just means each tile has its own little quirk. I used the 18 pieces to make a mosaic backsplash, and the chalk background makes the lichen arcs really pop.

The lichen pattern on these 13x13 tiles has such a lovely, organic swirl to it, and the chalk finish catches the light in a way that feels almost matte-velvet. I had to sort through them because a few edges are chipped, but for a creative backsplash or accent wall, the character is totally worth it.
