I was a bit worried the 13x13cm size would feel too small, but they actually create a gorgeous, textured mosaic look on our kitchen backsplash. The hand-produced finish gives each tile a unique character that really stands out in the light.

The nautical inspiration really comes through — the wavy edges catch the light differently every time you walk by. Handmade feel is obvious in the subtle variations, and at 13x13cm they were easy to lay in a herringbone pattern.

Installed these in our kitchen backsplash and the nautical shape adds just the right amount of visual interest without being too busy. The 13x13cm size made for a surprisingly easy layout.
